Planning for the 2018 MHSA Spring Conference is in full swing, and it is shaping up to be an event packed with inspiration, motivation, engagement, and fun. It is sure to be a conference that you do not want to miss!  If you haven't registered, EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDS TODAY, so register now!  CLICK HERE

This spring, Shamiel Gary, current NFL player and former Head Start kid is our keynote speaker. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gary is living his dream as a professional football player in the NFL. But the road to success wasn’t easy; he faced obstacles from every direction. It took hard work and perseverance to bring his third-grade dream to life.  His mission is to creatively inspire the world – rich or poor, old or young, marginalized or famed – to overcome life’s many adversities and realize their dreams are meant to empower others, and he is here to share his story with us!  You can learn more about Gary through his website www.shamielgary.com and hear him speak below.

Beyond hearing Shamiel speak, you, co-workers, and parents can participate in team building activities such as the Escape Room or a Scavenger Hunt or you can develop goals for the next 3-5 years in the "Be Bold, Big Plans Vision Board" workshop. Participate in workshops spanning from social and emotional health to financial literacy to help your parents, staff, or even you lay a foundation for a stronger tomorrow. Visit the conference page to view all of the workshops.

Of course, the week will be topped of celebrating our parents of the year at our annual Parent of the Year Luncheon.

It's going to be an fantastic week, and we hope you come and join the fun!  Oh yeah, there will be some learning too.
