Garrett County Head Start spent April 8th, 2024 learning about the Solar Eclipse. They had so much fun! They read a special book, Total Solar Eclipse: A Stellar Friendship Story, and did a demonstration of how an Eclipse works. The kids also got to do an Eclipse Craft and view the sun through Solar Eclipse Glasses! Before they left for the day, each child got a pair of glasses to take with them. It was a great day of learning!
